What a vibrant piece!

Yellow isn't many people's favourite colour because of the difficult in pulling it off (in fashion) and how harsh it is. If you know what I mean...

But this photo wouldn't be as nice in any other colour, I think. But then again, I'm no photography buff, so I may be wrong. o_o

Anyway, all the colours that are present in this photo work together well- the dark brown/black trunks bring out the yellow, the white sky neither clashes nor obscures the yellow foliage.

The green- mid-background/section (if you can call it that...) is a fairly important feature, I think. If it didn't exist, the photo would have a harsh white sky-black ground thing... I don't know how to describe it well, but it would have looked odd. So yeah, the green was also good in separating the white sky from the focal point- which I believe is the ground with the fallen leaves. Correct me if I'm wrong...

The reason why I think the ground was the focal point was because of the strong difference in tone between yellow and black, wheres the white and yellow in the upper half of the photo seemed more in harmony with each other... ugh, I just don't have any idea how to explain what I see... sorry! X(

This is a really, really amazing photo! Congratulations! :)
